There's no faulting his talent but would you forgo team cohesion and stability for that?

He comes across as a very likeable guy, I've seen him in interviews, he's a family man and very grounded but unfortunately he's either very badly advised or some of the people he surrounds himself are a disruptive influence on him, besides if he came over the papers would be constantly linking him with Sale or Harlequins etc.

Looks like he disrupts teams that haven't won anything for a while by helping them win the big prize in which case I would love him to disrupt us.

The Chiefs changed the coaching staff top to bottom, I think SBW wasn't the catalyst or the reason for winning the top prize, a root and branch clear out with a sugar coated SBW hundreds and thousands sprinkles on top of the cake. A similar story at the Roosters.

Which clubs did the team get torn apart because of his disruptive influence?

I think he has shown ultimate loyalty, to the future of his family and his dedication to rugby.

The fact that the club name is of lesser loyalty is totally understandable, he strives for what we do, job security hence his physique and ability to sport...

Swapping clubs frequently to support his family better by getting better contact deals.
like us swapping utility companies.

This might be why SBW is quitting the Roosters then, they offered the best tariff a year ago but now they've put his bills up by 10%.

Whilst anyone would agree that its a short career and we would all do what is best for our families etc the Utility Company argument is a little simplistic surely?

I might move from Scottish Power to British Gas and yes they will miss my monthly direct debit, they wont really miss me as a customer my £x per month is a drop inte ocean. I was neither agreeing or disagreeing with the rights of an individual to change their jobs or utility company but more interested in widening the debate on loyalty and whether for example a SBW can almost 'get away with it' in that as a real world class star performer most teams would say well we've had the benefit of one or two years he's a free spirit good luck to him rather than rubbing supporters up the wrong way for switching almost as soon as he'd got there?

I suppose if he transformed your team's fortunes he could get away with almost anything?
