How did Bridge play ? I herd he dropped the ball a once or twice. Didn't go today, went up to Yorkshire and bumped into Salford actually



And I agree, bring start to bring them up one by one and keep all the decent players we have like Hicks, Westwood ect ect...

For me Bridge was MOTM he was influential in all our plays, miles better then monas and Briers IMO

Probably going to get slated for this but I don't think he was.
In fact, I don't think he's been THAT bad full stop.
There were countless try saving tackles near the line by Cas players today.
If these guys crash over, Monas looks a superstar, when they're stopped, he did nothing.
If anything the guy's trying too hard.
Im certainly not excusing the teams performance today but it's not Monas fault we have possibly the bulkiest, slowest backline in history. Couple that with the runners ran predictable slow lines and barring a miracle anything Monaghan does is going to look poor.



Bridge went okay. He just ran the same one play down the right hand side multiple times. 20 minutes into the game the Castleford defenders knew to watch and nail hicks everytime Bridge received a pass

He had a stormer in a poor team today except for one knock on when we were down with about 15 to go, more forcing the offload I think.
I just wish he'd spend a bit longer on the pitch to be honest.

why is everyone looking for an instant result. Who says we have a divine right to win every game , any one who was at the match today must have seen commitment from all the players , cas arnt a bad side . Reading comments on various topics on this forum i doubt very much whether certain posters were at the game , lets get behind the wire and cheer them on win or lose theyre still our team

We had this conversation last night. What would happen if we wrote the league off this year & used it as experience (and a weeding out process) for the rising stars.

Use the big guns in the cup games & target that as the seasons aim.

EXCELLENT post and pretty much sums up this whole rubbish up.
Over the last few years Wire fans do seem to think we have this 'divine right' to win when in reality we are an average side.
There was commitment from pretty much every player today and although things didnt go our way, be that fatigue dropped passes or last ditch tackles close to the line, everybody tried.
I have been a boo boy in the past but our guys didnt deserve boo-ing today. We are not THAT far off the mark. Cas are a good side.

Well we can't be relegated and the U21's have had a good start to thier season and I'm sure the fans would prefer to see some exciting young talent coming through rather than the deadwood we are seeing at the moment from some in our ranks.
