Agreed the KR fans were brilliant as always.

Despite the result, still enjoyed another visit to the HJ stadium today, one of my favourite grounds. I love the fact you turn up and there are the same stewards you recognise from last year, who are always polite and helpful, do a great job.

You needed that one today, so well done. Apart from Ben Cockayne, we just didn't turn up.

What was that all about? 4 officers in three corners and half of Cheshire Constabulary in the North West corner. I'm not sure if they were there for KR or us after last weeks shinanigans!



Also thought that the away shirts in the West Stand looked like a ground stewards convention from a distance!

i didn't hear anything about the west stand being segregated this week, noticable that the wire contingent in the south west corner were missing.

Thought Cockayne was excellent under the high bomb, especially in the 1st Half.

It was quiet at times but as the game went on it got louder, the North and East stands even started joining in.

I'd say just under 1,500 from KR, which is still a good effort. They packed the stand in the middle but there were huge gaps to either side.

That one-on-one tackle on Woody was excellent aswell. Not many players (especially backs) can stop Woody at full pace about 3 yards from the line.

I was impressed by the numbers HKR brought with them, and even more impressed by the tremendous noise they made.

I like KR fans they are very vocal and always add to the atmosphere.

Agreed they made a hell of a lot of noise, interspersed with long periods of silence when the Wires got on top in the match!

Good win for wire, was probably the equivalent of a footballer scoring off his ar5e, doesn't matter how the win came as long as it did.
Thought we just didn't turn up and was about as clueless in attack as I've seen this year. Wire did what they had to do and grew in confidence as the game went on but I think if we'd have payed a confident team that were firing well we could have gone down by 50+

So all in all bad result but another good experience at the HJ, always made to feel welcome and looking forward to repaying the result in Scotland..

You must really have a problem Daz, following us around other club's forums.
As usual some will overestimate the support, others will underestimate it.
The only given is that Hudds will take fewer.

I saw a couple of Wire fans in the West Stand, not as many as previous visits mind you.

so did i but they must have sneaked in, i tried to get in to no avail

I didn't have colours on and wasn't quizzed on which team I supported.

usually you change your season ticket, this season unlike last when you could own a west stand one, you have to change your ticket, they would not let you, hence the people who did get in with a wire top on, must have paid cash on the day and not owned a season ticket.
