| When is he out of contract at Hull? Looks like the prop we need, and if Hull have a poor year again will he want an opportunity elsewhere?

He's looked the part since his arrival in SL. I'd take him, should an opportunity arise.

| He'd be perfect, I think it was mentioned last year and then he signed a new contract at Hull. It's good for Hull he is a handful they've put a good pack together.

| Very good player, I was surprised they kept hold off all three of their big men (Satae, Sao and M'au) when there were a few sides needing forwards and Hull nowhere near being competitive. He had a decent game today, certainly in terms of effort if not impact. Don't think he'll be trying the big hits on Paasi anytime soon though.

| I'd rather have Ligi Sao to be honest, solid in defense and attack and has a better engine But he signed a new contract last year. I would take Satae in a heartbeat aswell though

I've seen both players every game at Hull, Satae is miles ahead of Sao. Sao is good but very inconsistent and a bit of a penalty machine, got dominated by Saints pack on Saturday, Satae held his own in a tough game. Was outstanding last year and would have made the dream team if not for covid, best overseas prop in SL IMO.
on another note, we are rumored to have signed a young hooker from you Devine Balmford, any information on him.

He was in our Academy team, but signed during the CoVid lockdown periods and hence hardly played.
Not sure if Wire have released him or whether he was unhappy with the travelling from Yorkshire where he is from and requested a move?

| I’d loan swap Riley Dean for him. FC will be desperate for a good half back. Plus Riley will get some first team football.

Why would Hull FC let one of their best props go?
I would like to know if we made any attempt to sign Sao, Satae, Paasi etc

And why would we let Dean go? I can’t wait to see him slot in for the odd game, or if Widdop or Williams get injured. We signed Powell to give these younger players a chance and develop them into top home grown talent that will replace the NRL marquees. Seeing what he’s done at Cas with players that have less natural talent, I’m really excited to see what he can do with a few of our top academy graduates.

You answered your own question. I fully agree. That’s why I’d like him to be loaned to a team that’ll give him just that experience for us.
With any halfback injury, the preferred option is always going to be Ratchford into the haves and Thewlis at fullback. Riley Deans needs 1st grade football and Wire could do with the depth of a prop.

I didn't advocate transferring Dean. I was asking why on earth a rival club would let one of their best forwards go.

I know, I was just carrying on your point by finishing off your quote with my thoughts on the Dean part as suggested by RD.
We agree!
