| Wow...
That was one of the most dominated attacking heavyweight display since Mike Tyson...OK not the blitz speed of MT, more of a Forman/MT combination.

I was reading that the AJ fight may be in Saudi Arabia.

| They could play it on the moon and Fury would still teach him a boxing lesson. Mind you, I'd be surprised if AJ had the balls to accept the fight.

| Lol lets see if Fury actually manages to defend his title this time. If he does, hopefully it's against someone in the top 30 this time.

| Apparently, Wilder is blaming the weight of his walk on suit of armour for losing against Tyson & is going to sack the second who threw the towel in.

| I believe he was beaten in a bare knuckle scrap in a field at Appleby...Mind you, he'd done a few lines of the Colombian marching powder, 20 pints of Stella and weighed 32 stone.

He's only ever fought 2 top 10 HWs in his whole career. Apart from 2 obvious exceptions the competition he's beaten has been substandard.

So has Joshua, only quality guy he's fought is Klitchko and he put him on his butt and caused him a lot of trouble.. Heavyweight division has been awful for a long time and Joshua is just the best of slim pickings, and still wouldn't say he's the best out there he just hasn't fought the other big dogs yet.

Took the heavy weight titles twice. What does it matter who he's fought in-between? To go unbeaten in any sport is incredible and there is no such thing as an easy fight.
He gets told who he fights and he's gone in the ring and come out a winner every time. Twice faced a world champion, twice walked away with his belts. He was robbed of the win in the first Wilder fight and taught him a lesson in the second.

So it's Fury's fault there's not many good heavyweights about, is it?
He could quite easily retire with every belt you could win with a professional record of 32-0-1.

| There were very few decent heavyweights around in the Lennox Lewis era, but people still talk about him as an all time great.

Surely that was the best era since Muhammed Ali was around. At least there was Lewis, Holyfield, Tyson, Bowe.
When Tyson was ko ing everyone in the 1980s who did he ever beat who was top class? An aging Larry Holmes?

I think Don King took selective opponents to another level. He wouldn’t let Holyfield near him for years.
Still Iron Mike at 20 was awesome, and a real scoop for ch4....who I think have a 4 fight deal..,and I think may have covered 2 unification fights, if not, I saw them somewhere....and he immortalised Tupac at the same time.

Holyfield was down to have a shot at the title in 1990 but Tyson lost to Buster Douglas so Holyfield fought him instead. Then when Tyson was supposed to challenge Holyfield the next year, he was jailed.
In hindsight the Holyfield-Tyson rivalry was probably better to have been delayed. Given Tyson's lifestyle at the time, if he'd fought Holyfield in 1990/91 he would probably have been beaten badly.

This is a pretty incredible post.
A guy that has never lost.... who beat the undefeated Klitschko in Germany... Who came back from the brink of suicide to win the WBC World heavyweight title... having now held all the belts.... only the 2nd heavyweight to have held the ring magazine belt twice (the other was Muhammed Ali)... A man who hasn't ducked a fight in his entire life.
'yea but he hasn't fought anyone'
Jesus wept.
You win stupidest post of the year award... Go and sit in the corner, face the wall and never turnaround again... especially to watch boxing.

| Fury's CV isn't full at he jumped up in levels to fight Klitschko when no-one fancied him and then had a mental breakdown.
Pretty sure if he fought in 2016 and 2017 he'd have ticked off plenty of top 10's.
In the Ring's current top 10 Joshua has beaten four of them, to his credit (as well as Klitschko).
Both great fighters but might have to wait a while for that fight to happen.
