Riley has to go fullback he has proved solid there

and rough to take out Williams and Evans, neither deserve to be dropped. Riley does look very accomplished now at fullback, good lad.

Briers needs to come back in though. Grix now has that loose forward position nailed on.

I think Briers will come straight back in personally, although if I was Smith I'd be tempted to start him on the bench as a show of support to Myler & Ratchford as oppose to continuing to punish Briers. Obviously the circumstances are less than ideal but the plus side of Lee's actions is that it's probably given Smith & us all a glimpse of the future, no doubt slightly earlier than we all expected so why not stick with it for the short term.

Other than that, assuming Joel is fit he'll be back in the side, I'd keep Rhys Evans in the side I think he's a 'form' player for us at the minute having by all accounts played well on Boxing Day, in Australia & yesterday. Maybe play him left centre/wing and partner him with Atkins?

Lots of options, how do Williams go yesterday? Did he cut in as many times as the radio made it sound like?

I suspect that Briers and Joel will be in the side next week. Nice problem for the coach to have. I would keep Riley at fullback, he was superb there at the back end of last season. Ratchford will be somewhere in the 17, but I doubt he'll be at fullback.

I thought Riley was poor at fullback yesterday ! Often caught out of position and the comical catch where here head butted it back to Hull whilst funny was a bit un nerving Ratchford however has a proven record at fullback !

Riley was poor yesterday suspect under the high bomb also as was Myler far too predictable with ball in hand. Riley made plays too easy for Hull as for the people who went could see the Hull player had him wrapped up as soon as he received the ball. For me his is a finisher and will get plenty of Trys what he is not is a maker of try's. Overall happy with a point considering but combinations need working on far too much dropped ball!

If Riles was poor, Ratch was terrible. Being far too harsh here!

No-one had a great game really, maybe Grix if I'm being fair. Its the first game of the season though, timings are going to be off, the odd mistake will creep in here and there, etc. I'm not worried. Everyone will improve on that from yesterday.

I think Ratchford on the bench is a sensible option, he covers centre, fullback and stand off (or wings at a push though you'd imagine one of our centres would go on the wing). He's got serious versatility and we're one of the few clubs that I think would really reward a player like that (see how Grix has come on). If Briers is back then I think Stef to the bench to get 20-30 minutes.

I hate to break this news to you but King has left the club.
