This is one of the first Wire songs my Dad ever taught me and to this day I still sing 'and we'll really shake them up...' I never realised it was supposed to be anything else

We have to assume they are serious, as, when questioned later in the thread, they expressed puzzlement as to why I would question the seriousness of the post!

well i wasnt around in '78 so didn't know it from there, and when you get about 100 people singing it in the south stand and there is people around you talking it is quite hard to understand.


but obviously you cant just ask a question and get an answer on here, my mistake.
