| Dufty & Crowther need to follow Fitzgibbons lead in being aggressive but staying on the right side of things - surprised a little with Crowther, haven’t seen that side of him before.
We’re clearly not firing yet, my biggest concern is we’ll continue to struggle against the good teams with yardage / territory. This will put extra pressure on our defence.

|
It did seem like that ref had a personal beef with Dufty. He pinged Dufty for using the ball to lift himself up once (fine), but that Pangai Junior did the exact same every time he was tackled and got away with it all night.[/quote:1mmcrhpn]
There was a difference between what Pangai Jr was doing (which was absolutely a penalty a couple of years ago) to what Dufty did, there was no separation between ball and hand, but Dufty definitely lost control of the ball - it was a fair call I think.

|
I was pleased we won.
The positives for me were:
- Russell's workrate
- Walker's leadership
- Thewlis's proactivity in defence (thought he was a bit quiet last week)
- Fitzy getting a run out
To work on:
- Leyland and Lindop both dropped off a few tackles
- Crowther's brain melt
- Dufty getting involved in stuff he didn't need to
- King was anonymous apart from his try[/quote:fzu2ft7m]
Agree with most of that but I think on the whole Lindop was superb last night. He did fall off the odd one but made plenty and his anticipation was excellent. He also was pretty inventive on last tackle plays with kicks. I don’t think we’d have seen that from Tai.

| Russell was impressive last night, you can’t question his work rate. Maybe Burgess has uncovered a decent super league player. King was non existent he wasn’t even looking to put a shift in. And for the life of me please stop the fourth tackle play to Duffy

| I wonder if King was quiet because he is carrying an injury ?
