Sad to see him go as he offers a huge amount to the team, but at least now we have a quality replacement at full back in Stef. I reckon he'll retire, he's taken a battering off all sorts in the past couple of seasons, so it might be his body's not up to it.

I sincerely hope he's not going to Salford, because to see him and Moz line up against us would be gutting, as well as the flagrant disregard for the salary cap that the good doctor has.

I must be in the minority but i'm quite happy to see most of the players that are being released at the end of the season go. It's the right time to let Hodgson and Morley go, Tyke and certainly williams aren't good enough, Cooper i'm indifferent about but i'd have kept Carvell and would have prefered for Clarke come in for Monaghan for next season. Briers needs replacing very soon.

I'm disappointed to see him go and, despite the rumours of it, rather surprised too. When he signed that last contract I thought that because of its length he might be looked at as a coach-in-waiting for us, I could imagine he'd be good. But best of luck to him, I've always liked the way he conducts himself and plays and he's one of those guys in the sport who sets a great example - if your son became a player and turned out like him you'd be very proud indeed. Asa for the other leavers, best of luck to them all but the only one which really gnaws at me is Carvell, can't understand it

Gutted to see them all go - I just hope that this team now go and finish what they started together!

Good luck to him, one of the bravest, most skilful and intelligent players around he often stood head and shoulders above everyone else on the field. Nice guy as well.

Is there anyone else of the same mind as me that, given all that is going on at Bradford, they will only definitely believe that Carvell will sign for them if he gives a " thanks for the memories " speech at the end of the game tonight ( assuming of course that we have won and Moz, Hodgson et al are given the mic )

I am still waiting for the announcement that his Bradford contract has fallen through and he is signing up with us for another year.
