Exactly. You're allowed 30 seconds for a kick at goal, so there simply would not have been a restart. Tony Smith called the decision to tap the ball "a little bit naive", but I'd say it was unprofessional and symptomatic of the lack of respect we showed Salford. Tapping the ball was up there with Carvell's offload against Saints in terms of sheer stupidity.
