East and West divisions

8 teams in each play 16 games home and away

MM sees west day and east day

Top 4 in each go into playoffs in a 1v4 2v3 system quarter final

Bottom 4 in each division go into a relegation playoff with themselves
So West 5,6,7,8 play each other from same league (not East) in a 5v8 6v7 format
Winner of each of these games stay up both losers go into a relegation game, loser goes down.

Won't happen like but sounds exciting

I like that idea, but 8 team leagues would only be 14 home and away games.

I would take the relegation away from it, and add 8 extra league games - where west plays east teams.
alternate home and away on a yearly basis(i.e: 6 nations style)
So for example, we would play every western team home and away, but would play the likes of Leeds at home 1 year then away the next.

23 league games per season including MM.

Maybe then bring in another competition to make up the games or leave it at 23, as this may benifit the national team?!!! have some international friendlies during the 4 weekends that are free'd up !!

Here's an idea 8 teams in west 8 in east
Same format the west play each other twice and east play each other twice top 4 from each then go into a league together and play another 14 games no play offs, winner and 2nd place go into Gf at OT.

Mean while the bottom 4 from each group go into a league again play each other twice top 2 from that play a warm up game at Gf and win a minor cup

29 game regular season(MM), 30 for the Gf teams.

2 games more than a club who finishes outside the playoffs usually get, equals more money.

Add to this sorry, winner of the west and east both get a trophy too midway through season West/East division champs
