| wouldnt surprise me to see moran folk out that much to be honest
he does own SJM promotions and concerts which organise the main music festivals and every concert at the MEN arena, as well as being the official promoter for:
take that
oasis (well, before they split)
the killers
kasabian
etc etc

Simon Moran is the Managing Director of the largest UK concert promoters SJM CONCERTS, who are responsible for thousands of concerts per year.
SJM promote tours by some of the most successful artistes in the world including Oasis, Take That, Morrissey, kasabian and The Killers and the company’s management arm SJM MANAGEMENT also guide the careers of The Script, The Coral, Paul Heaton and John Squire.
Simon Moran is also the executive board member of the Academy Music Group, who own and run venues across the UK including Carling Brixton Academy , Shepherds Bush Empire, and Carling Academies in Birmingham , Liverpool, Bristol , Newcastle , Sheffield, Leeds and Glasgow. He also is one of the major investors and part-owners of the world's most popular concert venue which is the MEN Arena in Manchester.
SJM also co-promote the annual V Festival and T In the Park. V Festival won the UK Festival Award for ‘Best Line Up’ in 2007, and at this year’s awards, are nominated for Best Line Up and Best Major Festival. Additionally, T In The Park won “4Music Festival of the Year 2008”, plus three Awards at 2007’s Scottish Event Awards.
