| Manchester I suppose you can live with but Wales? Not exactly like we have a load of home games in the first place. No wonder I don't buy a season ticket anymore

| Does anyone know which venue in Manchester he's looking at playing these games ?. I've been racking my brains figuring out which area he's trying to tap into. I'm all for expansion but North Wales is a joke Special Offers to all them scousers on the Jam Butty camps No thanks.

| Couldn't be season 2016 as surely it's not legal selling you a season ticket without informing that some of the guaranteed "home" games are one the road? I'll be most annoyed if not only are we chopping and changing days/dates/times but venues now.

Didn't The Doc say last year that he would be looking at going on the road with cup games?
I'm not too worried as there is time for policy to change three times yet!

| He mentioned it yes, just can't see it would be legal to market a season ticket with X amount of home games and then voluntarily change the venues of them.

| The North Wales fixture could have been influenced by a few staff/players who have represented the Welsh national team. Just a thought because I can't think of a logical reason.
Just another thought, season ticket holders aside this will also affect and inconvenience sponsors who have paid good money in advance for hospitality. It's all too messy for the regular paying customer this for me. I share many people's ideology for expanding the game beyond it's traditional roots, but it never works. Let's keep the focus and effort in Salford we haven't even cracked that yet.

Sorry,MR you miss my point, cup games aren't included in the season ticket, therefore the club are in theory,in a position to play the cup games ( if any ) where they wish.

| Didn't see the Cup games bit sorry.
If the club has serious ambitions in the Cup (and for me in the short term this remains the best route towards real progression) then maybe taking any easy beat early round opposition on the road wouldn't hurt but not a Quarter or Semi against a big name SL team.
You'd run the risk of an undoubted drop in the number of bums on seats and the obvious revenue that generates.
And for me more importantly you run the risk of losing home ground advantage in a one off cup game.

Yes, and it no doubt influence the club’s recent link up with North Wales Crusaders: www.thereddevils.net/news/post/r ... -crusaders

Cup games aside, if it was a league match/matches, I suppose you could report the club to trading standards. But unless it was a sizeable group of supporters, I think it would take some brass neck for a fan to do this, not least because the potential stick they could get. Although if the 5-year season ticket had been cut short a couple of years ago, as was muted, I could have seen the group that bought one corralling and doing just this.

Yeah it'd have to be, or maybe or the new Fc Utd's ground in Moston ? Can't see it being anywhere else. Think both grounds capacity are around 6000 ish.
I know some NRL clubs like Manly, Bulldog's, South's, West's, and St George tinker with their home fixture locations. And i'm pretty sure all clubs have to take at least one home fixture on the road too.

| Not an abundance to choose from of the desired capacity and standard.
As had already been mentioned Etihad complex and FC Utds, possibly Edgely Park.
Not that many other options further a field Bury and Oldham.

| Think the Etihad Campus stadium was negotiated last season for an early rnd CC fixture , if we were drawn at home and depending on the opposition .
As for Wales the only plausible is is to convince either Widnes / Warrington to ceed home their advantage in an away fixture in the super 8's at the racecourse ground . if the fixture was a' dead rubber 'it wouldn't happen.

No disrespect to you, Michigan red, or your ambition as a club, but, I wouldn't worry about whether the semi final venue is "On the Road", it will be
