Had to chuckle last night about the amount of people jumping in the bandwagon on FB and Twitter, whom probably never knew where Moorlane was until 9pm last Thursday.......if only they knew where the AJBell was....

But well done to the club it's good to see some positivity in the media for once about our great city, especially in light of all our off field antics and the recent spate of gun crime.

Having played for the club 20 years ago I was a bit teary last night seeing them beat a team including the likes of Alan Smith, Roy Carroll and Jon Stead. Superb performance and fully deserved..... got a few funny looks jumping up and down in a boozer near Euston Station as the goals flew in!icon_smile.gif Already told my mate he's a disgrace for not checking the FA cup fixtures before he booked his wedding for this weekend!

Would love to see Salford City in the league in a few years time and think a ground share at the AJ Bell would be a no-brainer!

I detest wendyball with a passion but even I turned the match on with 10 minutes to to see how they were getting on. Maybe the club should be renting advertising space at Moorlane if the next round of the cup is at home and on telly. They could also give out flyers with season ticket discount codes on them, we might just tempt back some of the "gone aways" that follow both sports.

The AJ Bell should try stocking. Some of 7 brothers. Beer, it'd improve the current Pisch they sell by 100% . I. Noticed they was a Real Ale Bar at the Olympic stadium on Saturday not cheap of course . But slightly cheaper than £4.90 they were charging for a plastc Bottle of Heineken or Kings press cider

I guess the whole bar operation is outsourced along with the catering to [url=http://www.azurecatering.co.ukAzure[/url. Perhaps it’s worth getting into their ribs about it.

There was a few nice drinks in the new pub before the last game. The best option for me was the outside beers seller, a few decent options.
