Does anyone know hoe the fixtures are planned for the mid 8 play off. I know super league clubs have four home and three away - but who against?

I think/thought that the Championship clubs have home games against all the Super league teams

No, at the moment the fixtures are to be arranged as follows:



Top 8s
Self-explanitory

Mid 8s
Rank 1 = 9th in Super League
Rank 2 = 10th in Super League
Rank 3 = 1st in Championship
Rank 4 = 2nd in Championship
Rank 5 = 11th in Super League
Rank 6 = 12th in Super League
Rank 7 = 3rd in Championship
Rank 8 = 4th in Championship

So if the positions as they are today remained so until the end of the season, Salford’s fixture list would be something like:

Hull KR (A)
Wakefield (H)
Leigh (A)
Sheffield (H)
Bradford (A)
Widnes (H)
Featherstone (A)

So it certainly pays to finish in 9th or 10th for the mid-8s. Also bear in mind that after those seven fixtures, only the top three start the following season in Super League; 4th and 5th play-off for the fourth place.
