Really enjoyed the interview with Andy Greg. Brought back some really happy memories. I think the team spirit he talks about was really obvious to the fans and was a time when players and fans were really close

Interesting that he said the semi-final loss to Sheffield effected him that much he saw it as the end of his RL career. I've often thought the same and that it marked a turning point for Salford as a club. I don't think the old regime ever recovered from that and made bad decision after bad decision after Greg left. Only the Karl Harrison era came close to matching that. I think the bond between Andy and Wilkinson was so strong that they both suffered from his decline and the club didn't recover til Marwan came in

Podcast was really good fellas, as always. This was the most enjoyable yet.

Please don't take this the wrong way but I think one thing that needs improving on the show is the overall sound - are you just using one mic? The main presenter is always really loud and clear and the rest are distant and quite difficult to hear (i listen in my car through aux cable). If you could add an extra mic this would be great. You can buy little mixers that have a couple of inputs that go into your laptop, I have used these for recording into garageband in the past and they work great. Yamaha do a cheap one.

Anyway keep up the good work, you make the drive to work on Thursdays much more enjoyable haha.

Thanks for the positive and negative feedback we need both to improve the show its great we get interaction more the merrier.

The sound is a issue we have tried different microphones / soundboards /laptops, originally we only had 1 Mic then 2 now we have 4 so we can all have one rather than pass the parcel which has been the problem in the past.

The reason the main microphone is loud is because it goes through the laptop,the others go through the mixer we are trying to get the settings right on the mixer but it's hard to figure it out sounds good on laptop then play it back and its quiet. it's getting better but still needs work, we will get there tho.

We will keep tinkering with it and I'm sure it will come good in the end

Ok that's good you are working to sort it out. Are you doing it through garageband? The podcast app on there is really good and should help solve the problem.

Good luck with it all anyway, the podcast is great and the game commentaries are highly entertaining.

We use Audacity at the moment to record it and Soundcloud to stream it. It does the job but we are always open to suggestions to improve it.

Think it's more of a soundboard / mixer issue but like I said trial n improvement every week

As for the commentarys I love doing them but I personally don't have much control of it, I advise contacting the club if you liked it and would like them to continue this Season.

Might be able to get you in to do an episode in one of our podcasting studios at work.
