Has this been confirmed yet? It said that we would be playing Fev away in a friendly on the newsletter that was sent around the other week, but nothing has officially been confirmed on either website.

I honestly don't think we can just rely on Swinton and Dewsbury as suitable friendly opponents.

Cas were supposed to be playing at Fev on 28th December but have announced today that the game has been switched to the Cas ground as Fev have had their pitch extended and the new turf has not taken. There were rumours earlier that the new part of the pitch had subsided. Don't know if that means your game will be switched.

Why would Salford play Fev at Leigh?

1. Its guaranteed to go ahead
2. Wont be first time you have needed LSV
3. I think we know the real answer

Why are Leigh moaning about us not wanting to play them in a friendly? Is it cos they want all the gate money again

I think we should play Leigh, then have the Doc and Beaumont box at half time.

It would make more sense to play Leigh away than Fev, whilst both teams are of a similar standard (could argue Leigh should now be slightly higher following a full time pre-season) however they're local and they are always enjoyable games. Mainly because Salford always win, although they are generally close encounters.

I'm looking forward to playing Fev though, the same teams year after year becomes a bit tiresome.
