Rumours has it i don't think he's coming over. But in all honesty i didn't know much about him. We've got 8 props if you include Puletua so more then enough.

He's not in the news item, but he's on the actual squad page at number 31. It could just be an oversight on the news item.

I think the Oldham v Hunslet Championship 1 Grand Final put the final nail in Gaz Owen' Salford coffin. Liam Hood outplayed him in all departments, hopefully he gets a permanent move and regular first team RL elsewhere because I have no doubt his progress has stalled due to a number of unsettling loan moves.

I agree. Although Hood had the advantage of playing behind a dominant pack, and Owen has another year on his contract.

Any word on Tyson?

As I've said on facebook, I think this is the strongest squad I've ever known us have. The first 23 (poss 24 if Hood makes the step up) I'd be happy to see play week in week out and 14-23 are better than a lot of players who've been first choice in previous seasons
It's a well balanced squad with decent depth. Trying not to get carried away

I can't remember seeing a stronger squad for Salford in all my days, my only concern is that we are missing one more quality back.

Think the most interesting will be MCB and Griffin going for the centre/wing.

Very pleased to see Theo get the 14 jersey, shows his value too the squad for me, if you're good enough to play for the french national team in the hooking position you're going to be good enough for Salford.

My point is , Matt Groat is one of our 'Non Fed ' signings , and he was omitted from the news item and given the lowest Squad number , that's not a good sign for him if he was planning to come over to boost his career. he'll be 6th choice at best.

Agreed, however I'm trying very hard to keep perspective , we remember quite a few pre-season comments along the lines ' Salford have a good team on paper' , yet we have only crawled into the playoff places twice, 97 & 2005,.
If anything the pressure on the 2015 squad is greater than last years.
The 7 & 9 positions are crucial for me.

I feel if i'm being totally honest were a class hooker short from being almost complete although lee ain't that bad defensively very strong just lacks in speed round the ruck maybe fages n hood will give us this. Also Josh griffin not a household name is very under rated. People say MCB will be ahead of him but i see MCB as more of a winger!
