Something of nothing. Agar’s comments are no doubt emotional, rash and were probably said in the heat of the moment. He needs to be careful throwing accusations of ‘Salford’ illegally approaching players, then referring to a third party agent working on our behalf. For a start agents don’t work on a clubs behalf, they work on their Client’s. It’s non of our business what an agent says to his Client whether it’s illegal or not, for example see Martin Offiah’s conduct prior to Richie Myler’s move to Warrington.

After the way the RFL have acted towards Salford this year dont be surprised if theres a hefty fine or points deduction heading our way should there be the slightest bit of evidence to support Agars claims.

Should there be no evidence or case to answer maybe we should sue them and get our Tim Smith money back.

I doubt it the club seem quite pleased with the deal and have quieltly gone about their business re building the squad for next year.

We may not be rich in terms of money but we are a club and town rich in rugby talent and evèry player has its value and for every player that leaves there will be a chance for another young lad.

I hope rangi gives you the same entertainment he's given us over the last 5 years he's quite sublime at times but like any player he has is quirks.
