| How did the planners get it so wrong after getting the stadium right.
No thought at all for fans.
You have a really good stadium, But what a nightmare to get away from.
Who thought it was a good idea to only have ONE road away from the stadium??????????

| It is a major problem and with a £5 charge for parking, plus the way out it is a big problem.
Long term a road is to be built road under the M60 across the MSC into the Trafford Centre

| Firstly, at least we have a car park for supporters unlike Headingley. Secondly, the stadium is not yet finished and neither is the infra structure. Thirdly, we have only had a handful of games and we are still trying to get procedures sorted. Other grounds are just hard to get away from and are much more established than ours. People need to be more patient and not just do the british thing of moan straight away..

| I'll give you that! There does appear to be 3 car parks on the satelite picture on google. However, the one outside the headingley lodge will no doubt be for players and officials.
The one behind the south stand will more often than not have sky tv trucks on it which leaves the one by the cricket practice pitches. All in all I'd estimate room for about 150 cars max! Hardly adequate for a stadium of that size wouldn't you say.
Although I do seem to remember seeing another car park on the tele once when I was watching the cricket test match...now where was that...??? Oh yeah! It was your pitch!!!

Players park in the cricket school car park off site, other than Sinfield anyway. Directors park in spaces under the pavilion; the rest of the spaces are pretty much exclusively reserved for corporates so away fans will certainly never get a look in, never mind have the luxury of booking a space on the website.
The difference I suppose is that Headingley has loads of side roads nearby whereas for you guys that is less so. I suspect though it is one of those things that will settle down and regulars will find something that works for them after a while and, like away fans at Leeds, away fans at Salford will remain perplexed

| Can recommend Eccles RLFC Car Park. £3 for a supervised parking. Pint in a friendly club house before 10 min walk to the game. Getting out was a peice of cake.
Only gripe was that no hand pulled beer or decent lager at the club but will happily go back there next year.
I hope Salford make a success of the new stadium and best of luck for the rest of the year.

| Anyone used the Park and Ride from the Trafford Centre ? Is it in use and which car park at the Trafford Centre does it leave from.
How is it getting back to the Trafford Centre.
Our tickets go on sale tomorrow and not sure about getting a car park ticket sounds like a few early season problems.
