| Hi – I’m a Broncos fan coming to the game on Mar 2nd. Train gets into Piccadilly at 7. Just wondering what the quickest way to get the new ground ahead of kickoff is? I’m assuming taxi will be quicker than bus and tram? Reckon I can get there before kickoff? Good luck tonight!

| taxi not necessarily quicker than the tram and obviously a lot more expensive.
Tram to Eccles then taxi to the ground which will cost you approx a fiver

| Bus usually takes 40-45 minutes from Shudehill, number 67, although at rush hour in can take a heck of a lot longer.
There's trains every hour, about half past/25 to, from Victoria to Patricroft. Takes about ten minutes and it's about a half hour to 40 minutes walk depending on how fast you're going. Plenty of pubs en-route, mind.

| Perfect - thanks for the tip. Any advice on where to go for a decent post match pint? Staying at Salford Quays and doesn't look like much happening there.

| Most will be in the Unicorn straight after, although the Grapes a couple of minutes further up the road (that's going away from the ground) does the better beer (Holt's house).

| Given you've only got an hour to play with, I'd get a black cab at Piccadilly.

| When I posted this I thought this may be where we (Broncos) got our first win. Sadly (for us) you guys have started playing well and we have been very very average. Looking forward to seeing the new ground and enjoying a few beers on Friday night.

Me and the missus are coming up. Are these pubs near the new ground?

| The quickest would be to fly to Baerton International
Best bet as others have said if you can is get the 67 that drops you off directly opposite the ground or if your coming from town get off at the old ground and jump on the £1 bus from the car park.

Yes, about a 15/20 minute walk away.
