| Fulfilling Earth, Wind & Fire's world tour commitments.
I can't promise that will be the last tired EWF gag I'll crack this year.

| Doesn't matter one jot if he's a crock as Nero is an indentikit player in every way for me. One of them would have been good business (and to be fair it would have been Bailey) but both of them seems rather stupid to me.

Don't worry he's got the same specialist as Owen Hargreaves, recommended by Jamie Redknapp and Michael Owen.

I think Nero would be first choice centre anyway mate, Bailey for me would have been in the second row or started on the bench.
Any news on Anderson?

Who do you think the will be?
I'd have to go for Nero and Henry.
Still think we are one winger come short in the squad.

Being one of our better players, we can't leave Henry out. Not sure he has the pace to play out wide on the wing, so he'd have to be in the centres, and Nero brings some power to backline. Not sure about Gleeson? Our defence outwide seems to be getting worse at the moment, I had hoped Phil Vievers might have sorted this out.
I standby any comments previously made about the quality in the side, it is there, we just aren't as strong collectively.
As for Phil Bailey, he took Swain's place in the squad. Not looking a good move!!!!! Then we've made some questionable moves in the transfer market. Not sure we've strengthened the front row or the backs enough, plus the fitness of Anderson and Bailey are causing concern. Admittedly, I really want Anderson to prove me wrong. A very classy player on his day and brings power to the backrow.

Said it at the time and many times since but the move to release Swain was pure folly for me.

| He's crocked. He'll be lucky to play a couple of games this season. He was crocked when he signed and he's crocked now. His injuries at Wigan were worse than they made out. Ask any of the coaching staff if he undertook a medical before he signed. Far be it for me to accuse the club of not doing things right, but if you get the chance, just ask. A truthful answer may surprise you. Don't even get me started on Andersons injury history.

Swain didn't offer much in attack, but this still doesn't seem like a smart piece of business to me. There must have been better players available. I just don't get our recruitment policy!!! Although I fully believe Jewitt and Neal have potential, they are still largely unproven, we needed some hard running props that could give us platform to build on. Not three backrow forwards. It looks like the club couldn't get the players it initially wanted and paniced into signing players the team didn't really need. I'm just hoping Anderson can get himself together, as he's a player that would genuinely improve the team.
