Selected at halfback for the Maori is former South Sydney halfback Jeremy Smith, who has been with Salford in the Super League and is now signed with Wakefield.

| There's also another Salford connection in The Maori team..............Justin Horo, son of Mark Horo the former Salford loose/second row forward (and gentleman).
I can't believe that just the other night I was looking at some photos of this toddler playing with my youngest son. He's certainly a bloody big toddler now!!

| You look at both the teams picked for warm ups and they are good quality sides, makes you feel there is slightly more strength in depth in RL than you thought. Pity there isn't the qaulity for the English/GB selectors to chose from.
