However, having been 28-0 down at half time, the was an improvement after the break and we only lost the second half 8-6, with Littler scoring a good try, albeit as merely a consolation.

You gave away silly pens and looked out of sorts in the first 40, whatever got said at half time worked, played some good rugby and kept the ball alive in the second 40.

They never threw the towel in.

First 20 mins killed us, must have been 5 or 6 penalties against us and we were 22 nil down and had hardly touched the ball. Wakefield played well, and hardly made an error all game ( even Korki never dropped the ball), certainly a well coached side.
Not all doom and gloom though, as we played some good rugby going forward and our try was as a result of some really flowing play. Even when the full time hooter had gone we were still throwing the ball about trying to score.

Unlucky today, but no doubt Wakefield are much improved and deserved the win.

I don't get it! some say we played better in the second half? Wakefield took there foot off the gas, the game was over as a contest after 20 minutes, I don't know what the answers are but I must have watched a different game as I cannot take any positives out of todays match. Made it worse having to pay £20 to get into that hole.

The one positive is your back home, the downside to that is you will be playing in your own poop hole next week

Job done for Wakefield in the 1st half, they made us look slightly better in the 2nd by easing off. The only positive I can come up with out of this game is the hooter going so I could bugger off home.

i didn't go to the game but what happened in the first 20 mins? were we penalised for messing about in the ruck? Offside? The players dont seem to help themselves, or is giving penalties away the coaches fault?
