| A cracking player and by all accounts a cracking bloke too. Like so many people I've lost a number of family and friends to Cancer over the last few years and the work he has done through his foundation is an inspiration to all.

Was speaking to a friend recently from the St Helens area who knows him and says what an incredibly nice guy SP is, in a society were the red top tabloid press seem to dub anyone as a hero at last a genuine one gets the recognition he fully deserves.
