Sadly some of us live at a place wheree public transport is a no no unless I want the pithecanthropic company of an all-night bus to Rochdale. It may be, as the roads will be so jammed, that journeys will be a key factor in my continuing physical support at Salford.

But agree drove past myself yesterday heading to the Traff and the big stand looks very imposing indeed, didn't know they had started the end closest to the motorway and could'nt see if they had begun the last side.

I was shopping with a friend from Nuneaton in the Traff yesterday and she said why on earth is there nothing anywhere in the place about Salford if they are the main sponsers?
Goes to show for me that the club should be pecking the powers that be's head about getting the name more and more in peoples minds before the move to the new ground.

I was in Didsbury before i set off so it's marginal. I make that side of the M60 my journey quite often - just to see the progress being made. Should be a cracking stadium - if not a dangerous distraction to those driving over Barton Bridge

Had a look at your new stadium. Very impressive main stand and fantastic location, certainly easy to find. It should create quite an atmosphere. I hope companies will see the opportunity of building a couple of bar / eateries on the site. Exciting times ahead for the Reds and my beloves saints. Think the club, council or Buckinghams are missing a trick with the webcam as you can basically now see sod all that is going on. A better placed camera would let you see all the construction as I was unaware all 4 stands were under construction until I went past in a car on Saturday

went past today on the moterway, first time in about 3 weeks, and it now as four stands (last time two)
what we now need is a good name for the ground, and signs on the moterway when it open.

Drove over the bridge near trafford centre and saw the progress on this last week. Looking brilliant and i for one cant wait for the first away day there. Im glad this has finally come because im sick of the fact theres so many yorkshire teams that theyd have kept over you even though theyre moaning about expansion.

It's coming on well I'm looking forward to Leighs first competitive victory there in 2012

there is actually a big poster of the reds squad (a few years old) just where the entrance is to the Peel Holdings offices at the Trafford Centre.
