Good pictures, I just hate to see sporting grounds with unfinished corners just think they look a little half ar$ed for some reason.

Though to be fair I'd rather that we have a secure future in a small but modern ground than be stuck at the Willows worrying every 3 years if we've done just enough to get a franchise.

It's my pleasure, I just slipped a couple of the builders some Pies and they gave me the Stadium Tour.


The boxes at the top of the Main Stand give fantastic viewing, very spacious and include 8 seats per box, on 2 rows.
You can see Manchester City Centre in the distance, plus behind the stand facing to the main stand there are loads of tree's behind the stand so it looks really nice, Quite similar to the KC.
Better than looking at the sewage works anyway

I'll make another visit in a month or when they finish all the stands.

Should also create a good atmosphere with the stands being very close to the pitch.

' Bijou ' compared to the Big West Stand but the end terraces are roughly the same size as the Willows Main Stand but with a concourse behind. As said the low roof should give a great atmosphere , so having seen these pics I'm more chilled , Thanks Sam .

Think it something like west stand 4000 seats,east stand 2500 seats and both ends 2750 terracing each to make the 12000

cheers for that should be a great atmosphere when hull bring 2.5k over, what are the plans for next season with regarding salford playing on fridays or sundays hopefully sundays

From a prpmotional point of view think Friday night games will be best as the bright new well lit stadium is bound to attract curious looks from people going over the bridge and hopefully if even a very small percetage decide to look into what is going on we could get a fair few more bums on seats.

its obviously the friday/sunday debate which one is best. i suppose its wether the club want extra away fans or more coperate boxes sold

Went past it on the way to the Trafford Centre today for the first time. Took me a while to realise what it was, maybe a Salford City Reds banner somewhere would help?

Both ends are the standing areas, one home, one away end.

I agree 100%. Saints' new stadium looks excellent especially with the corners being filled in.
As people will, maybe rightly say, any new stadium is fine and beggars cant be choosers but I'd be far more excited if our stadium wasn't quite so bland/generic.

Saints' looks really really good, quite a bit better than ours I'd say.
