it's staring at the west stand not the south

Did i say south? I meant west, iv'e been told by one of the CMs at work that the north and south stands should start being erected mid next week!

I hold my hand up, because I always had a bad feeling that events would conspire against us with regards to the new ground. Until I saw actual framework going up I still had the bad feeling. Looking at them new pictures fills me with total joy and real optimism for our Club. It's looking real good.

Can't wait to take my place on that first ever home game.

Drove past tonight and for once was glad of the M60 rush hour traffic jam. It's looking good. There's gonna be some height difference between the stands if the sloping part of the south stand is the roof (or am i just being dim and that's just part of the stand??)

I agree. The main stand must be huge because the rest of the ground looks way smaller than the Leigh Sports Village despite our them being similar capacities.

From today. I make it about 10 rows of steps behind the sticks.

When I saw it I thought it was a part of the roof from the main stand, if thats the stand behind the sticks how dissapointing, the top of the roof is only level with the top of the steps on the main stand. Like Rochdale away end like someone said.

Yep. Looks like the Sandy Lane end at Rochdale. I occasionally watch Dale FC and sit in the stand directly facing the small. terraced Sandy Lane end.

My opinions on the revised stadium venture tend to rile the vast majority, so I'll keep my gob shut.

It looks comedically small, but isn't the plan to make the bigger over a period of time?.

Another comparison would be the top of the terracing being on level with the entrance steps of the main stand.
