As a season ticket holder for many years I find it ridiculous that I haven’t received any correspondence regarding renewing my ST for next season neither has anyone I have spoken to. As a professional sports club and Salford needing to retain as many ST holders as possible I would think it’s only common sense to contact everyone on the database. It seems the club are just expecting every existing ST holder will renew.
This year I have introduced two friends and brought them to around 5 games where they have bought tickets from the ticket office. After enjoying the experience one of them is thinking of buying a season ticket for next year. Why haven’t they also been contacted with regarding to buying a ST for next year? A non ST holder who obviously has an interest in attending games should be the prime target if we are to get new members on board, shouldn’t they? (One of them had details taken when purchasing for the first time)
Also there is the on-going issue with what day we will be playing on next year which I know for some people is the factor in them buying / not buying a ST why wasn’t this announced the day the ST went on sale? I’ve seen that MK posted on Twitter that we will be playing Sundays but nothing ‘official’ from the club has yet been announced and there is a lot of confusion amongst fans at games.
What are we actually doing to advertise ST renewals apart from the occasional social media post?
Well seeing as the thread is going down the usual route of supporters "in breeding" why not call the club Marwans Red Devils and then you could play where ever he wants.
