Just reading on BBC teletext that Wayne burst out laughing when he was told about the bid for Sam Tomkins.
I just hope that one day soon we can make him laugh on the other side of his face !!!

I was only thinking today about how professional both Ian Lenagan and Sam Tomkins have handled the approach with the media. Respect for that. Maybe Shaun Wane's initial reaction was a defensive reaction to his boss, based on the prospect of losing his prized asset.

Even Tomkins has got a price,and Lenigan noes it.

Exactly, a world record fee for a player that's likely to leave on a free when his contract expires has to be considered thoroughly.

But I rather suspect that Mr Lenagan knows that wendyball or the Aussies may pay more

My bet is that this saga has a few more episodes to run!

Good point this move could alert England RU to throw their cap in the ring but I can't see the Aussies paying a huge fee it isn't their style.
