There has never been an instance of this actually being enforced - indeed quite the reverse, RU games have been moved several times when Sky have needed to show Leeds RL games. However clearly this little white lie is possible when you have a single management team. Sale are a different proposition entirely; presumably Salford were smart enough, as the anchor tenants, to build in a primacy of tenure clause into their stadium agreement? ....
