Rugby League returns to the City of Manchester this summer at Mancunians RL, and the club is pleased to announce the addition of a Women's team in 2011.
If anybody in the Manchester area fancies getting involved, men and women both train on Thursday nights from 7pm at Broughton Park, M21 7TL.
Mancunians RL is committed to development of rugby league and welcomes anyone interested in the game to get involved, regardless of experience.

Just seen this on the VT. Well done. Great news that a community club in SCR's catchment area is going well!! Off field wise the club does some good stuff and the community work we do spreading the word in Manchester and Trafford is second to none.
Would love to see more youngsters coming through the local ranks from Salford into the First team/ Super League and think it would be great for the game for us to start to feature more Manchester lads in our player dev systems too. Lots of talented young RL potential out there and forward thinking community clubs like this are the way forward. Well done.

You are right, there is bags of potential in Manchester and Trafford. We hope to start a junior section this year to emulate what is happening at Manchester Storm and St Peters - real grass-roots development getting local kids involved.
