What a difference a few days make, a couple of players signed, Wells, Hetherington & Brisbane Broncos bandied about, with a fair amount of optimism in the air. All this with very few or any facts in the public domain. Fingers remain firmly crossed as it would be very Broncos if it all went belly up.

A coupla signings is a boost but getting excited about a pie in the sky involvement from an Oz club (that has already distanced itself from the rumours) is, sadly, likely to end in deflation. Mind you, hopefully not.

Doubt any of us are excited, but most of us are probably enjoying a little bit of optimism compared to even last week.
