Connor Wynn has being playing for Doncaster as a dual registered player this season. As Doncaster haven't had a game for 3 weeks he played for the Hull reserves last week and subsequently picked up a 5 game ban.
Who do those 5 games relate to? Is it that he can not play for anyone until he has missed 5 Hull reserve games? (which will be the start of next year as they only have 4 left?)
They will definitely be games for the 'Hull' club. 1st team games can be counted if there is no Reserve team game that week and the player has played at least once for the 1st team in a competitive match. He couldn't be DR'd to Donny to gain some matches as loaning players to get round bans was outlawed several years ago after, I think, Leeds loaned Bazzer to Bramley to knock a few games off a long ban. However, if he'd been sent off playing for Doncaster only games he could have played in L1 would count
I’d presume 5 games means 5 games no matter what. I’m sure clubs have signed players who were banned at the end of the previous season and that ban carried on into the next.
