After today's result, played in what was actually an "on the road" location at Newcastle, we have to assume that Toronto has got promotion into Super League for 2020 sewn up.

Once that happens we have to be hoping for a serious New York team to materialise and emulate Toronto.

Why ????

Because we need to lay down roots in the USA, as well as create a north American rival for Toronto. New York, as the biggest city in the USA, would be an ideal location for this project.

If that was to happen, and New York was to enter Super League with Toronto and hopefully Toulouse, by say 2022, we could then have a truly international, North Atlantic Super League that could start getting some big rich sponsors for the game -- rich sponsors for both the Super League competition and for the individual SL clubs.

New York, tolouse and Toronto in with Salford, Wakefield and Huddersfield out, would be an ideal scenario

I would like to say it has been a breath of fresh air to have live championship games available on line, have enjoyed the coverage & the picture quality on my I pad brilliant.
