It's the merry go round period for coaches in the NRL. Gus Gould recently fired the Penrith coach Anthony Griffin. Now Manly owner Scott Penn is about to fire coach Trent Barrett. This adds to the list of NRL coaches available for Super League in 2019.
Wigan probably blundered in rushing to sign Shaun Edwards. "Baz" who is a former Wigan star would have been a better choice. Meanwhile two other former Manly coaches --- Toovey and Hasler -- are also available.

Justin Holbrooke and Steven McNamara are clearly the two best coaches in Super League. Both were previously assistant coaches at the Sydney Roosters, under French speaking head coach (and former Catalans head coach), Trent Robinson.
