Siddal have no Canadian internationals. In fact Siddal have no internationals of any stripe.

I can't see anything other than the highly rated Toronto inflicting a 60-80 point mullering of the poor Halifax amateur club in this game.

I hope the wolfpack have been learning how to defend a punch or 10 in the tackle.

Hopefully they will stick to the game plan and win at a canter, rather than being drawn into a brawl

Don't see anything other than a big Toronto win but Siddal will put up more of a fight than a good few league 1 teams

Suprised its on at 13:00hrs. with the time difference and first real game - Id have thought they would have made it an evening KO for the whole of Canada to tune in.

Toronto Wolfpack’s first ever competitive match will be streamed live on the BBC Sport website when they travel to National Conference League champions Siddal on Saturday 25 February (1pm kick-off).

Yer I know its on bbc website but there was no reason it couldnt be on bbc website at say....5pm for the Canadians.

Presumably, it is because an evening kick off would require floodlights and Siddal's ground won't provide sufficient lux lighting for broadcasting purposes.

Agreed, but all the other BBC 'Challenge Cup' live streams have been 1pm kick off (for whatever reason).

I don't see why there should be a need to inconvenience the Siddal supporters with a later kick off.

Im sure the Siddal supporters wouldnt be inconvenienced with a 5pm KO. We all know its not the fans who choose the time. Its not the teams. Its the TV companies. Always will be.

I'm enjoying watching the clean PTB's with no moving off the mark and no one trying to milk penalties, good honest RL. SL could learn alot from this game about what spectators actually want to watch.

That pitch warranted a postponement of 24 hours and it should have been played at Widnes

Really enjoyed that, credit to both teams for managing to do anything in that mud. Commentary was far better than anything sky offers.

I know they've already said they'll be streaming another game in the cup, and they recently I think put a Wales Wc qualifier, but I wonder if this could be a long term thing for the championship or championship 1?
