What are you on, this is a good tussle, some of huddersfields try's have been class.

Admittedly the second half improved but too many errors in the first half.

The Giants scored two terrific tries, the sort which are virtually undefendable. They surely won't be at the bottom of the table for long. All the more credit to the Warriors for getting the better of them. Sarginson, Gelling, Bateman and Charnley in particular all excellent.

Wigan's left edge defence is a total joke.

Making a very poor Hudds team look ok.

Two awful teams...if that was Wakey v Hull KR, Eddie would be on a right rant now.

Wigan played the ref beautifully there.

Don't know what the Wigan Mafia said to Joe Cobb at half time it ended up with a lobsided penalty count in the 2nd half 7-1 and 2 yellow cards for the Giants, Giants defended OK but was always going to crack with all that pressure.

Didn't Joe Cobb ref the Leeds v Hull game and did the same change of officiating between 1st and 2nd half, he seems a bit weak.

Both the yellows seemed fair enough. The penalty count would be worrying were we not used to seeing refs complete change how they ref a game on a weekly basis and having said that some of the Hudds players namely young Mason and Brough looked like conceding a pen every tackle they were involved in.

Brough wasn't that bad this game. He held a shirt on a couple of occasions but on occasions the attacking Wigan player you could see trying to win the penalty by holding a Giants players shirt.
They very often slowed the game down while in possession themselves by doing this and then have the cheek to moan to the ref.

On that left edge we had a 20 year old second rower playing his 4th or 5th game of his career (at stand off), a 19 year old centre, and a 21 year old winger who's trained up as a full-back. I'd be more surprised if Huddersfield didn't score a few down there with an England centre and wing combo.

Don't worry. Wait until you play the Catalans Dragons. After that experience, everything will be clear.

I like his style of reffing but he let himself down badly in both games at times. hope that with a bit more experience he'll get a bit more savvy

Think it was very mischievous of Sky & Bill Arthur to report what they did hoping to create a bit of scandal.

Answer me this, what's the difference between being in the refs ear as you're walking off the pitch for 10 secs and being in his ear throughout the 80 mins during the game which all teams do?

Someone on the Hudds board said Cobb should've told Bateman to go away....how do we know he didn't? Also said on the Hudds board that as soon as he doesn't send Bateman away (how could he when they're both heading for the tunnel?) and hears what he has to say that's going to effect his judgement on calls in the 2nd half. I'd say that can be applied to fans watching the game.....as soon as people heard that story from Bill Arthur they stopped judging incidents properly and starting looking for Wigan bias in every call.

Hudds never learn. They choose to interfere and slow the game down. Maybe Cobb gave a couple of soft ones but really they should be looking at all the ones that were given legitimately. Let's face it, last night was no exception.

Exactly, they get given a team warning, very next tackle Mason with a clear as day high tackle.

I always look for Wigan bias in every call. It adds to my enjoyment and Bill Arthur's comments didn't influence that. I've always liked a good conspiracy theory and you can find loads in rugby league!

Fair play to Wigan for having the brass neck to complain about slowing the ruck - given their mastery of that particular dark art; but Shudds did themselves no favours with persistent infringements.

Enjoyable game, even with all the errors - quite a tussle.

I was actually quite impressed with Wigan’s ruck speed last night, but that was probably due to having their main protagonists missing.

Huddersfield were their own worst enemies, especially the first sin-binning, a high shot on the first tackle after a team warning – strewth.
