Thanks, that makes him British I guess, he moved to England and adopted the Country.
He had a limited playing career in Australia and all of his Coaching has been in the SL.

in charge 'initially until the end of the season', so it is left open. In the absence of any outstanding candidates, I'd say he has a decent first shot at it. He's done a long-ish apprenticeship.
The difficulty is the more chance we give him, the less time it gives somebody else to contribute to putting next years squad in place, if we do go in another direction.
As long as he does okay in the next few weeks, he'll be given 2015 I reckon. Just a guess, mind.

It pains me to say it, because I like John Kear and wouldn't really want to see him at Rovers, but I think he would suit them well.

Unless another Koukash appears and takes them over they are unlikely to ever put together a top 4 squad on paper. To have success they will have to go back to the way they were under Morgan, where the team spirit and will to win meant that the total was greater than the sum of the parts. Kear has a decent record of getting players up for games when it matters.
