TBH, I don't think they've made a bad job with the RLWC so far, but is it just me or is this not *really* the first image people ought to be seeing when they go to the RLWC site? www.rlwc2013.com/world_cup
In isolation, it's a minor thing I know, but an organization that had its image management under control ( and we need image management) wouldn't do that, surely.
Why a big picture of an administrator? Couldn't they find a player!?! |

The picture is directly related to the story about the sale of the RLWC broadcastings rights, including quotes from the tournament director Nigel Wood (as pictured), so I don't really understand your point.
Just putting a picture of a player because it might look "nicer" isn't in keeping with the story.
