I'm sure that the OP will clearly indicate which particular part of the Sport Industry Awards nomination process they are unhappy with to demonstrate why this isn't just another attack on the RFL but a reasoned objection.

Duel Registration killing the lower tiers
Stobart and the lack of sponsorship
Consistancy of disiplinary panels
Awarding of licences fiasco in 2011
RFL Bulls
Reduction in Sports England grants

The RFL are the Benchmark that other Sports aspire to.

Then stop bleeding, I'm sick of reading negative Victor Meldrews on this site. RL hasn't got a big sponsor because its not a national game and that's a difficult pitch to a national company. Why that's the RFL's fault is beyond me.

Please tell me about the selection criteria that the Sport Industry Award panel used for the nominations and not just your generic bleats about your perceived RFL wrongdoings.

Classic rugby league fans. The governing body are nominated for an award and they complain.

I think our nomination might be just a "stocking filler" to be honest. Some of the criteria for the nomination is similar to the criteria for the sports funding. As we failed on the latter don,t see whats changed maybe a different viewpoint perhaps, might cause confusion with the RFL they will make the assumption that everthing is good in the "Redhall Bubble".

1. A decision made by the clubs themselves and not the RFL
2. Who should the RFL demand sponsor the Super League? You know since they Are different things?
3. Do you sit on the panels and see all the evidence?
4. Again you seem to be confusing the RFL and The Superleague
5. I don't even know what that means
6. So the RFL are responsible for an entirely different sports body (who slashed grants to many other sports too)


In short

You reasons are utterly, without a doubt, 100% stupid

1) A decision made by SL clubs purely on a financial basis with no regard for the damage to youth development and the lower tiers of the game. They didn't make allowances for getting the Johnny foreigners match fit until they tried it and were knocked back...oops a major oversight. The RFL recommendations for youth development were thrown out by the SL clubs who obviously know better PMSL.

If my club ever joins up with a SL club to allow them to get their SL players match fit then my involvement with both my club and the game will be over.

Great news for the game.

I would after to disagree, if you market the competiton one season for free, so people can advertise the game on a back of a lorry, your not going to get any takers to spend £000's the next year to have the same right.

No you and your chum just need to think. At what point has it passed you by that some posters on this and various other forums think the RFL have helped the Bulls out far more than they should have.

Now - and this is the key - regardless of whether you believe that to be the case or not, nobody and I mean nobody could not have noticed such a strain of opinion existed. Hence the statement RFL Bulls is an obvious derogatory statement, done in the same way people like you love to call posters ludites etc when you don't agree with them.

Your attempt to look oh so clever in your contempt riddled response to the original poster just made you look oh so dim.

For the record I think the RFL Bulls tag is amusing but not really fair or accurate.
