i think the previous week he managed 41 minutes. so maybe he will soon reach the point of just saying they should kick off with a chip over the top.

Each game someone should do a counter on how many times he calls a team an "outfit"

Also, someone should time how long it takes him to say someone has been working "overtime"

I'd love to see a team coached by Stevo... chips over the top coming out of their own half in the first ten minutes being the go to play.

You people give Eddie and Stevo a hard time but I think they are great.

They're alright at times.

I did enjoy a comment the other week, Eddie said something about Stevo camping under the posts at the ground they were visiting next, possibly Quins and Stevo just looked completely dumbfounded.

There was also an amusing exchange when a player was clambering over an opponent and Stevo said he was "turtling him" which got a laugh from me.

I don't mind them either, but if you refer to each half of the game as a 'stanza', you're open to ridicule!

I don't think Rugby League on Sky would be the same without those 2. And I don't mean that in a negative way.

It's a bit like listening to 2 of your mates talking about the game down the pub. Not everything they say will be correct but it can be entertaining nonetheless.

Stevo Eddie and Clarkey on commentary really make the game for me Jonny.

Sure, we know that they will come out with rubbish at times, argue with one another and they all have their favourite quotes and sides they clearly prefer.

But they are all 'familiar' to me and personally I think you can't beat a Friday or Saturday night in front of the box with a few cans and a chinese.



And at least it's not Jonathan Davies.

He was a great player wasn't he sanjunien, in both codes.

Not many people know he lost his wife (who was his childhood sweetheart at school) to cancer about 15 years ago and it had a big bearing on his retirement as a player.


He is bloody annoying as a commentator though.

my missus has been fighting it for six years now and she's still with us thanks to the medical advances made since JD lost his loved one.RL ,in the form of SL on Sky with Dame Eddie & Stevo & the rest plus the games she sees live at TO & Perpignan have helped keep her going.Every live game is like a big dose of chemo for her,no kidding !
