There's a lot of Wigan haters out there - perhaps because we dominated the RL world for a decade, but never won anything on merit but only because we went full-time pro in 1942, we bought all the best players in the world (and left half of them in the reserves just so they couldn't play against us), we bought the RFL and all the refs, we've cheated the communist cap by millions in every year of SL, it was our fault Cas went down that year, or perhaps you just didn't like Edwards and now don't like the Tomkins clan.

Alternatively there are plenty of British fans who can see past club rivalry and love nothing more than to stick it up the ockers & send them home with their convict tails between their arrogant in-bred legs.

I think you will find that they didn't buy the referee or the RFL. Everything they did was completely legitimate and legal. There was no salary cap then remember!

And perhaps Wigan deserved to be in the league unlike Castleford so that is why they were relegated. You're not blaming Saints for when Castleford were relegated in 2006 so you can't blame Wigan

There is no such club as 'St George' playing in the NRL anymore. They merged with Illawarra in 1998 to form the St George Illawarra Dragons. Therefore your poll is inaccurate and I shall not be voting.

Unless a person supports St George ILLAWARRA Dragons or Wigan Warriors then no one cares who wins.

I'm sure most fans of Rugby will be watching the game if they can. Just because you don't support a club doesn't mean you cant wish them look or cheer them on.

Many neutral supporters like myself really honestly couldn't care less about the score after 80 mins.

barring that i would of course like the english team to win. i dont support wigan, as my username and initial answer make clear. if anything i was raised to believe they are the enemy. But i shall be cheering them on come sunday evening.

It would probably have taken the OP a full 5 seconds to type 'Illawarra Dragons' on the end of 'St George'....and as you say we all lead busy lives.

As I'm sure you know 'St George Dragons' and the 'Illawarra Steelers' merged in 1998 to form what we now know as the St George [uILLAWARRA [/uDragons.

When referring to merged clubs I think it's only fair to mention both the teams.

The OP could even have typed 'SGI' if he was REALLY strapped for time.
