| Do you think we should include Conferences in the Super League? The Advantages would be numerous like
- More Derbies.
- Less Away Travel.
- Bigger Attendences.
- Better Rivalries between closer clubs.
- Less Games in a season.
You could play a team in your conference twice (home/away) and in the other conference once (away or home). Thoughts?

| I think conferences could work for the reasons, you've stated, but it couldnt be used to reduce the number of games in a season, if less games were played, sky would pay less for coverage, which would result in even more clubs struggling financially.

Too few teams in SL already to make it interesting. Splitting them would destroy interest and make derbies lose their edge. As to travel, apart from London you could throw a blanket over all the clubs. A destructive idea that has no merit IMO.

| "Less Away Travel"
the clubs in SL are hardly miles away as it is. In football fans travel mid-week from Plymouth to Newcastle, Carlisle to Gillingham and so on and so forth with little issue.
even if HullFC competed in a 'yorkshire' league, I doubt we'd see many more away fans than we do now, and you'd lose the attraction of playing Saints, Wigan and Warrington..which traditionally pull in some of our biggest crowds of the season.

What about in the future, when the RFL get their way and there is another French team, and another London or Wesh team? IMO if the RFL are serious about expansion (and their constant bending of the rules to allow for it, suggests they are), then conferences is the only way to go, otherwise we will have to get rid of many successful heartlands teams, or have a much longer season, neither of which are desireable/feasible.

Whilst there are so few teams in SL, conferences won't work and are pointless. They may have merit if there were more teams, but where are the cash and players going to come from to fund more SL teams?

So 'when the RFL get their way' the northern clubs won't play the french teams at all?
Only the french teams, welsh teams and us would be traveling miles to eachother? Isn't this what we already do?
Stupid idea.
