Pryce out for Saints - thats a big blow.

Before I fancied Saints for this, now I think it's too close to call.

Spot on. It should be a good game, I might fancy Saints if Wilkin and Moore can get firing early on.

Leeds aren't in the best of form anyway and they have a couple of players only just back from injury so will be a little rusty.

Moments like that you have to wonder about the officials. He comes onto the pitch for that? Absolutely effing clueless. As Wellens stated, Burrow goes right up to the line, you cannot ignore them. Absolute balls and they are doing their best to ruin what could be a classic game.

He is the biggest 'You are a top club so have a penalty' type ref in the league.

Although the BBC will deny it once again--there is definitely something they do with the sound when it comes to Rugby League. The commentary and officials are much too loud and the crowd noise they seem to subdue.

Funny how when Saints score, he's very willing to go straight to the video ref, when Leeds score, there's a hint of obstruction in the build up, but he gives it straight away.

The decisions have gone against us, but the RFL are going to have to look at this 'late' tackle rubbish.

This is showing just how important good half backs are. With McGuire and Burrow, Leeds are nice and organised...Saints and their makeshift ones means we're utterly clueless on the last.

Have to agree about the "late hits". That close to the line you have to hit the man. As for the obstruction call, that was a bit of a reach. There was possibly a very slight infringement but it would have been very harsh to call it back for that.

Exactly my thoughts. Would see a huge amount of tries called back if thats interference. Ewwenorfolk does find it impossible to give Leeds any credit whatsoever though.

Interesting start. Leeds seem to be disrupted just as much as St's with the loss of Pryce.

They seem intent on playing up the middle 3rd and the fringe players keep cutting inside despite chances looking better out wide. When they did go wide, they scored. Should have score when McGuire cut through and threw the ball over the sideline but Senior and Hall had cut in.

Might backfire for Leeds as the tactic was for a Sts team with Pryce in it. Mmmm?

PS, shame to see and stand closed for a semi. Should have been at the HJ with the other semi at The Stoop IMO

Although nothing suprises me with Bentham anymore he gives 40-20's when the attacking side are inches inside their own half.

Just make it a non-contact sport, then everyone at RFL will be happy.
