only ones I would rate as 1st class signings, based on NRL performances and where they are in their careers at least.

| I forgot about Eastwood, so Millard and Eastwood for me.
Although Dallas Johnson is a top player, he is a grafter and can't see him standing out, he has made a career out of making those around him look good by taking on such an exeptional workload, offensively he is almost non-existent and not sure what sort of impact he will have.
As for Orford, no dounting his class, it's what he can do with our backline. IF Kearney looks comfortable at standoff and IF Platt/Sykes/Nero can fire outside him he will be a great success, if not he could look a rather frustrated figure, a la Stacey Jones last season.

Millard did well when given the oppurtunity last season, unlucky to be at a club with Jamal Idris and Josh Morris. Did enough to get offered a new contract anyway. In a league with barely any decent centres he'll rip up if he's given decent ball.
Eastwood has always been big throughout his career, hasn't done him much harm so far.

Soliola, O'Meley, Johnson, Orford will all be top class signings.
I'm happy with all four of our aussie signings and I think they will make a good impact.
Sa, Utai and Eastwood will be ones to watch too.

| I think Shane Tronc will be a very good signing for Wakefield, last season he was solid every week for the Cowboys and make good yards constantly. He was unlucky not to get in the QLD Origin side IMO especially when his team mate Matt Scott got in and he wasn't as consistent as Tronc.
Orford is a good player and if the Bulls forwards stand up this year he'll control things and could be the best signing.
Dallas Johnson and Sa are both good signings for Catalans but the most important thing for them is to re-sign Greg Bird on a new contract which doesn't look likely with the Titans after him.

I agree with you on O'Meley, there are a few players in that list that have big repuations but have failed to produce the goods in the NRL recently (O'Meley along with Soliola, Sa and Utai).
I have a good feeling about Millard, he'll run rings around the centres over here, whether that is because the standard is shocking or he is good is another matter. If you search him on a well known video streaming site you'll see some of his good work..........................

Millard is certainly no better than the centre he's come to replace, Ryan Atkins. He was a reserve grade player and your talking like he's Inglis.
He might turn out to be a good player but he could also turn out to be making up the numbers in SL. We'll have to wait and see.

You can't compare him to Ryan Atkins. He was in reserve grade (and played over 15 games a season of first grade in his 3 seasons) because he was behind an Australian internationa (JM)l and one of the most promising players in the game, (JI). When he was playing NRL last season he was well above average (IMO) and couldn't believe it when he signed for Wakefield.
Anyway the proof is in the pudding, as they say, but I'm confident he'll surprise a heck of a lot of people. Like I say check out a highlights reel....thats against NRL standard competition, I'd love to see Ryan Atkins do that, he'd be a shoein for England in that form.

| Millard is solid but not brilliant. Had big wraps but never really did it on the field.
Kearney, if he stays fit, will be a good buy.

Yeah I'm happy we have signed Kearney, hopefully he fires at Stand Off, if not we have an extremely good Full Back (only problem being we have a surplus of players who can play full back and not many who can play stand off if it didnt go according to plan). I'm sure Orford will help with that, letting him know what he wants from his Stand Off (he will have experience with this after Jamie Lyon converted there after limited playing time in the position and led them to the NRL title).
