Neither the replacement of the poorly-supported Crusaders with the better-supported Widnes or the establishment of 2 new stadia has prevented the 2013 SL attendances from being the worst on record so far.

The 'rounded up' figure of 2000 for Salford vs Hull in round 12 was actually 2689 according to the Salford matchday programme from this weekend.

Thanks, and yes... I was aware of that particular instance of Salford massaging their home attendance figure at the new stadium. IIRC, they were reluctant to acknowledge an attendance figure for the Hull game after the event. No other agency has credited them with the rounded up massaged figure yet either.

My current home attendance total for Salford (including the 2,000 attendance) is 20,731 from 7 games at an average of 2,962 (rounded up because I prefer to be positive - glass half full and all that) which is exactly the same as what Sky Sports website stats are reporting [url=http://www.skysports.com/rugbyleague/stats/club/0,,12207,00.htmlHERE[/url apart from their rounding down of the average to 2,961.

My current SL attendance total is 752,053 from 89 games, but according to the Sky Sports website, the current SL attendance total is 732,065 as reported [url=http://www.skysports.com/rugbyleague/stats/comp/0,20291,11070,00.htmlHERE[/url, which is a discrepancy of 19,988.

After further investigation, Sky Sports have not included the attendance between St Helens V Huddersfield in Round 1 which was 12,003 or the attendance between Wakefield V Warrington in Round 12 which was 7,985. Those two omissions account for the discrepancy. Therefore Sky Sports current attendance figures are currently incomplete
