What published crowd figures do you have a problem with? Feel free to list them and what it is about them you have doubts about.....



1. The Double header crowd is added to the averages of the "two" home teams and not all 4, but don't let facts get in the way of your opinion.
2. The Double Header event is actually a regular season "home" game for the 2 first named teams and therefore they get a share of the revenue. This has been done by the NRL in the past for games at Brisbane.
3. Magic Weekend is not a regular home game and the clubs do not share in the revenue...it is a money making event for the RFL that does nothing for the clubs other than skew the fixtures.
4. The Big games events are again stand alone regular season games where the "home" team are in receipt of the takings. If Leeds Rhinos took a game to elland road and got 35,000 that would count as part of their average...why don't they? Sarracens and Quins are to be applauded for their initiatives, not sneered at for their success.
5. By suspicious when referring to Unions crowds, what exactly do you mean? There are plenty of crowds in RL that end in ,000 that we accept. Or is it the Average for Quins being bigger than their capacity at the stoop?
Pay careful attention now.....10 games at the stoop and 1, with 82,000 in attendance at Twickenham. If they averaged 12,500 at the stoop, their seasons average would be...18,818........but their stadium only holds 14,850. Are they lying or are they just smart, by creating an event that boosts their coffers?

What an absolutely awful game that Wales Fiji match was.
Not one single player on either team showing any understanding of how to fix, drag and hold a defender or create and exploit space. Neither team had the core skills to to execute more than 3 passes before it fell apart and not being capable of making correct decisions at international level is laughable.

Once again there was a huge social occasion going on around and within the stadium. The media hyped up expectations beyond anything the game was ever capable of delivering.

Awful awful quality !

Why would I comment?

I was asleep and have no interest in Wales v Fiji other than my wife's mood should England go out...........The game of Union in most cases is an awfully boring affair, but I won't post negative comments about it in some bizarre attempt to make Rugby League look better as a good deal of League fans on forums seem to do.

The concept of sitting through 80 minutes of something I don't like just so I can go on-line to slag it off seems very odd....almost as odd as paying a subscription to do so as our OP

I like GOOD Rugby wherever I can find it, it's just I don't find it on a Rugby Union pitch . . . well virtually ever!

I watch Games of both codes at all levels Amateur, Semi Pro, Pro and international and I'll call it honestly whether you like it or not.

The old trick of projecting your own inadequacies on other people is a little bit transparent and childish.

Sam Burgess was totally responsible for Huddersfield's defeat tonight.

Why are you talking to yourself?

Most of the Union plonkers blame Lancaster for Eng RU's loss against Wales not Burgess.

Again, for the second time I have never suggested union fans aren't 'real' or 'proper'. Those are your words and you're trying to put those words in my mouth just so you have something to troll at. You're having to invent stuff so you can troll, which makes you very sad.

Thank God Farrell got yellow carded because otherwise all we would have had was Burgess being yellow carded .

So their plan to host the final group game in Manchester on Grand Final night with the expectation of England sealing their qualification to the knockout stages has now become a stop off on the road of the inquiry of the state of England RU.

Burgess should have walked for that.

They hand out yellow cards like confetti to be fair, the fact that the lead runner was obstructing in the first instance led to Farrell making contact, sure 'without' arms but a yellow for Burgess, that'd be bollox. Guys having their heads being tugged at the ruck and maul in headlocks and not a murmer. Far worse & plentiful around the shoulder/neck tackles gone unpunished but union has gone properly soft. Their TMO system is making the game even worse than it is already with regard to minor infractions.
Classic one earlier in which the ref was happy with the tackle but the TMO just couldn't help himself and was insisting that one of the most respected referees was wrong and he needed to have a look at it. Game came to a standstill for 2-3 minutes and still the TMO was telling the ref to give the tackler a yellow for a non event.

They probably won't have to win as Fiji should beat Uruguay before England face them.

Whether you agree with it or not they are the rules.

It would have been a penalty in RL and was a capital offence in RU
