Absolutely. I'm sure i read recently he was getting married to an Australian TV personality so that will be factor in his decisions moving forward. He will have his pick of NRL clubs, i don't see him back in SL until he is over the hill or if ever to be honest.

And, if anything, the decision to play him in the centres at the weekend against France puts him up against plenty of good centres (including two from his own club!), when, if anything, he might stand more chance of getting in the squad at 6 or 8.

He may return to league but with Bath likely to be in the Champions Cup every year he'll be playing in European games that are intensive as any International against the French and Irish sides (sadly not the Welsh) packed with world-class players, so it's no foregone conclusion. I think he'll stay as leaving early would be seen as being a quitter.

| I wonder which energised Sam Burgess the most: winning a Grand Final alongside Greg Inglis in front of a packed stadium of cheering fans, or standing around with his hands in his pockets waiting for another scrum to be re-set?
Tough call...

What about playing in a 6 Nations every year in front of packed stadiums of cheering fans in countries that he's never played in, playing in Argentina, South Africa, Japan in 2019 etc or going on the 2017 NZ tour with the British & Irish Lions? Or playing the same 2-3 countries every 2-3 years in RL?
Tough call...

Im sure you know what you mean but I haven't slightest WTF you're on about.
Apart from this post I'm refraining from contributing until the Union trolls have finished their fest over each other's posts!

When you say 'playing' I'm presuming you mean 'Standing around getting cold while another set-piece takes place?'
Travel to Argentina and watch the ball being endlessly kicked from half to half. Travel to Japan and watch men with huge chins stamp on each other.
It says a lot about a sport where the fittest and busiest person on the field is the referee...

| With them being completely different games some people are made for league and some for union. Lynagh, eales, mccaw union legends who would've been pants in league, and it works both ways.Burgess is too good to be pants but he is an out and out rugby league player for me and if he hasn't realized that already he soon will. Then there's the likes of Johnathan Webb who should never have been playing rugby of either code never mind at international level.

1993 I think it was, J Webb did really well for England, he was deceptively fast, as he had long legs.
R McCaw would have been a very good RL player. M Lynagh would have done fine as a halfback also. J Eales, well you never know, he was quick, I reckon he would have bn okay as a front-rower, if he had wanted to be.

| The most popular topic on the first page of a rugby league forum is about a Rugby Union player? As the old adage goes, the one thing that connects Union and League fans is they're both obsessed with Union?

| As I heard on Yes, Prime Minister earlier, very droll.
But obviously that's an opinion not fact. As of course many watch both sports, and I'm sure I like others think that inevitably RL will bring back continuous live rucks.

Yeah of course. I have nothing better to do than create multiple user accounts on an RL forum to troll a messed up halfwit on the other side of the world.
There really is something not quite right about you, seriously. Since your ban you've completely lost the plot.
I'd seek help or log off from the internet for a few weeks.

Nice of you to admit it you are the only one who's persisted with saying that I have been changing accounts and lo and behold, an account pops up aping what I've posted from 'the changing man'. If it makes you happy you crack on

Seriously, seek help and soon.
You really think i'm the only person who spotted your "ingenious" creation of multiple user accounts?
Is this thread off topic enough yet mods or are we waiting for Jim, Molly or one of his other cleverly created aliases to come along, fool us all and drag it down even further.
