apart from the obvious basic errors it was quite a decent first half which swung from end to end, and suprisingly a well controlled performance from the ref.

Seems to me that we are being dominated in the collision leading to a fast ptb for them and a slower one for us. Could go either way but not feeling too confident. If we sort ourselves out in the 2nd half though we could do it. We've seen glimpses of it.

Correct, they just weren't quite good enough on the day. Could have been so different if Atkins had grounded but that and then the Wigan try next set killed their chances.

Well it's up to the other teams. People say this every year almost as if teams that have won the grand final should give a new team a free pass so that they can ''have a turn''. It's stupid. This season there was a fantastic chance, for a new team. Just before the split catalans hull warrington and wigan made up the top 4, so at this stage probability was in favour of a new team.

Catalans got scared, hull got giddy after winning the CC and warrington blew it again. I swear that team will never win a title again, they just can't do it.

Since the 1990's it has but not before that.

They've only had 12 different winners since 2001.

NRL does see a better mixture of teams in the GF. They have every team spending to the cap though plus in the NRL there is a better spread of top players across all teams.

Because all teams can afford to spend to the cap you see players going to smaller less successful clubs when out of contract. We dont really get that here.

Thought wigan controlled it well. Were I a wire, I'd be disappointed on a few levels.
